Vargas Island Beach BBQ #2 with a TWIST!

It’s another of the NFC’s fly-out excursions to Vargas Island Beach in 2013… But this one will see some of the group carry on the also land on Nootka Island Beach to check out the beautiful Calvin Falls as well!  

Pilots choice! Those folks that wish to return after to home base after Vargas will do so and those wishing to carry on to Nootka will do that too!  

Nanaimo Airport DCT Vargas Island (Alhouse Bay) = 85NM

Vargas Island DCT Nootka Island (Calvin Falls) = 43NM

Nootka Island DCT Nanaimo Airport = 122NM

Nootka Island DCT Tofino Airport = 48NM

Some things… same as before… Bring your own food and refreshments.  Even though beach bonfires are likely, portable BBQ’s and some condiments will be supplied for you to have a great beach breakfast/brunch. It doesn’t get much better, and it’s one to stroke off the bucket list!

It all begins at the NFC Clubhouse  (Sunday, May 26th) with a pilot briefing at: 08:00
