Vargas Island Beach BBQ #4… another one with a Nootka Island TWIST!

This one’s the 4th of the NFC’s popular fly-out beach landing excursions to Vargas Island Beach in 2013…   some of the group carry on the also land on Nootka Island Beach to check out the beautiful Calvin Falls and the not so hidden “Surfer’s Bar” as well!  

Pilots choice! Those folks that wish to return after to home base after Vargas will do so and those wishing to carry on to Nootka will do that too!  

Nanaimo Airport – Vargas Island (Alhouse Bay) = 85NM

Vargas Island – Nootka Island (Calvin Falls) = 43NM

Nootka Island – Nanaimo Airport = 122NM

Nootka Island – Tofino Airport = 48NM

Some things… same as before… Bring your own food and refreshments.  Even though a beach bonfire is a given, portable BBQ’s and condiments will be supplied for you to have a great beach brunch. A bucket list item!
