Langley Fly-in 2013 – Women and Wings
Saturday, June 22nd, 2013
The Langley Aero Club / COPA Flight 175 is celebrating 100 years of women flying in Canada.
On July 31, 1913, Alys Mckey Bryant flew a demonstration flight for Prince Albert, the future King George VI while he was visiting Vancouver. This is the first recorded flight by a licensed woman pilot in Canada.
The 2013 Langley Fly-in will celebrate all women in aviation with special door prizes, raffles, and presentations for the ladies.
The Fly-in also celebrates Langley Airport’s 75th birthday with additional door prizes & raffles.
We again have our silent auction, vendors’ booths, forums tent, and our kitchen–with chilli, hot dogs, refreshments and our famous Langley Homemade Pies.
Come join us at Langley Airport CYNJ on June 21 & 22nd! Langley Fly-in Poster 2013
