Westview Flying Club 60th Anniversary Celebration

POWELL RIVER FLY-IN 27 JULY 2013!  The WESTVIEW FLYING CLUB in Powell River is celebrating its 60th ANNIVERSARY!

The club will be hosting a fly-in on Saturday the 27th of July in conjunction with our city’s 50th ANNUAL SEAFAIR.

We invite all Antique Aircraft, Homebuilts, Classics, fixed and fling-wings to come and enjoy Powell River.

442 Search and Rescue Squadron from CFB Comox will be participating.

Local and visiting vintage cars will hold a Show-and-Shine at the airport.

Camping is welcome.

There will be transportation to the beach for those who would like to visit Seafair.

SEAFAIR:
Parade starts at 1000 hrs, downtown Powell River

At the beach:
Midway and rides
Food and art vendors
Live music all day
Fireworks Saturday night
